Jerusalem (Stevens-Seawright,92) 28 M D 5 H.M.99 10.00 Tetraploid
We call this lovely flower the 'Golden DANCE BALLERINA DANCE' after one of JERUSALEM's famous breeder parents. The color is a bright, intense gold; petals are very creped, ruffled and 2.75 wide, proportionately quite wide for a 5 flower. The nameJERUSALEM was selected due to the flower color being likened to the 'gold in the Temple'. Parentage: TRUFFLES X DANCE BALLERINA DANCE.

The base color is light lavender, the throat quite green. At top of the throat is a .75 violet band. But most remarkable is the two-toned margin on the ruffled petal edges. From deep in the throat up over half way onto the petals it is violet. Here thecolor changes sharply to lemon and continues so to the tips of the petals. Startling!
